Every 4th Sunday we take up food and toiletries and pray over them to place in our Blessing Box. This box is consistently stocked so that anyone in the community can come by and get what they need.
We do periodic church wide acts of kindness to show our love to our community. We don't want to give out religious tracts or constant invite cards. We simply want to let our community know they are loved and that we care about them.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that builds and delivers beds to children ages 3-17 who are sleeping in unwanted conditions such as a floor, sofa, or in a bed with parents or siblings.
BFUMC has partnered with SHP to provide space in our building for storage and construction of beds here in Pierce County. We are SO excited to work with this amazing organization!
